The dies were cut in 1863. They were sold to Edwards, then to Cogan, and possibly back to Bolen. Either Bolen or Cogan defaced, and possibly destroyed, the dies. The piece pictured, struck from defaced dies, was offered on Steve Hayden's web site during the Spring of 2012 with an asking price of $1250.
