The dies were cut in 1867 and sold to Kline in 1872. They recently sold for $1314 in a June 2008 Heritage auction.

Bolen struck 3 examples in Tin. Kline also struck a few examples in this metal. It is fairly easy to tell the restrikes from the originals. The originals are 2.2 to 3.0 mm thick. The restrikes are only 1.5 to 2.0 mm in thickness.

An Uncirculated example sold for $322 in the January 2011 auction of the Q. D. Bowers collection, lot 6629.
